SR-212.2 MEASUREMENTS
(All measurements made with Klippel Near Field Scanner in free space)
SMOOTH. ACCURATE. EXTENDED.
The CEA2034 or “Spinorama” data encapsulates the performance of a loudspeaker in a typical room. The SR-112.2’s “Listening Window” response is ruler-flat, exactly the response that delivers accurate timbre, unmatched detail and coherence to the listener’s ears.
(CON)TOUR de FORCE.
The directivity contour plot shows the coverage the loudspeaker visually as a rectangular “heat map”. The SR-112.2 holds its 80° horizontal pattern uniformly across a wide bandwidth, all the way into the top audio octave.
DO YOU SEE A PATTERN DEVELOPING?
Here is the data shown in the Directivity Contour Plot shown again on a polar map, making it easier to “see” how the sound is dispersed from the loudspeaker itself. The 0° axis represents the axis perpendicular to the speaker baffle. The SR-112.2 coverage is perfectly controlled, all the way to the top audio octave.
WHEN WE SAY “60 DEGREES”, WE MEAN SIXTY DEGREES.
The directivity contour plot shows the coverage the loudspeaker visually as a rectangular “heat map”. The SR-112.2 holds its 60° vertical pattern uniformly across a wide bandwidth, all the way into the top audio octave.
SIXTY DEGREES OF FREEDOM.
Here is the data shown in the Directivity Contour Plot shown again on a polar map, making it easier to “see” how the sound is dispersed from the loudspeaker itself. The 0° axis represents the axis perpendicular to the speaker baffle. Like the SR-112.2’S horizontal coverage, its vertical coverage is perfectly controlled, all the way to the top audio octave.
