The PLC-8K8 delivers 8000W in a 17-pound, 1U chassis. Capable of delivering 650W into 16-ohms (symmetrical channel loading), 750W into 16-ohms (asymmetrical channel loading), 800W into 100V (symmetrical), 1000W into 70V and 2, 4, and 8-ohms (symmetrical) and 2-ohms (asymmetrical), 2000W into 4 and 8-ohms (symmetrical and 4-ohms asymmetrical), this loudspeaker controller packs new levels of power into minimal rack space.

The PLC-8K8 is equipped with 8-channels of Dante / AES67 audio-over-IP digital I/O via 3 configurable network ports, including one PoE port. Each port can be configured for audio-only, control-only or dual operation.

The PLC-8K8 can drive up to 32 Theory 16-ohm loudspeakers in Lo-Z mode, or over 400 (!) in Hi-Z mode. You read that right, 400+ Theory speakers from a 1U chassis!

The PLC loudspeaker controllers are deployed within Powersoft Armonia+ System Configuration Software in the exact manner as Powersoft Unica amplifiers, so deploying a Theory PLC system is completely seamless within the already-familiar Armonia+ workflow.

Full API and modules for popular control systems like Q-SYS™, Symetrix™, and Crestron are available.
